Lahore: Former Test cricketer Ramiz showed disappointment over no ‘local sports channel’ telecasting historic England vs West Indies Test series despite immense hype as international cricket returned after 117 days.
Taking to Twitter, the cricketer-turned-commentator said that Pakistani fans should have given a chance to witness historic Test series at a local sports channel.
“Here we are, supposedly, the world’s most passionate cricket nation, but seemingly unmoved by not been shown the historic WIvEng series on any local tv sports channel. Welcome to the cricket lockdown!” he wrote.

It must be noted West Indies and England are playing the first international series since March 12 when Australia and New Zealand played the last match. All sports activities came to a standstill across the world after the COVID-19 outbreak.
