Karachi: Former speedster Shoaib Akhtar is not being linked with the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) for any role.

According to reports, PCB says Akhtar is not in line for the chief selector or any other position and considers the speculation as incorrect.

It must be noted that the 45-year-old himself confirmed that he is in contact with PCB for a post while speaking to a YouTube channel ‘Cricket Baaz with Waheed Khan.

“Yes, I and PCB are in contact for a post but nothing is finalized yet,” Akhtar shared. “See, I am ready to serve Pakistan’s cricket once again with a completely changed mindset,” he added.
