Karachi: Ravi Bopara scored 40 off 31 balls to rescue Multan Sultans to 141-7 in PSL 5 Qualifier against Karachi Kings. 

Sohail Tanvir with the help of a boundary and two back-to-back sixes to Wayne Parnell helped Sultans’ score race forward. He scored 25 runs off 13 balls to remain the second-highest scorer from Sultans.

Sent into bat first, Sultans were under pressure after losing 4 wickets for just 40 runs with Kings’ bowlers dominating.

Bopara partnered with Khushdil Shah to rescue Multans as they scored 40 runs together before Khushdil fell to Arshad Iqbal after scoring 17 runs. Bopara struck three boundaries and a six.

Waqas Maqsood and Arshad Iqbal bagged two wickets for Kings while Imad Wasim took a wicket.
