Christiano Ronaldo writes heartfelt note for late Diego Maradona

Karachi: Portugal’s Christiano Ronaldo paid tribute to Deigo Maradona who passed away on Wednesday due to cardiac arrest. 

Taking to Twitter after a sudden demise, Ronaldo said he was an unparalleled magician and the whole world adored him for his skills. “Today I say goodbye to a friend and the world says goodbye to an eternal genius. One of the best ever. An unparalleled magician. He leaves too soon but leaves a legacy without limits and a void that will never be filled. Rest in peace, ace. You will never be forgotten,” he wrote.

It must be noted here that Maradona was considered one of the greatest football players. He led Argentina to the World Cup triumph in 1986. He played club football for Boca Juniors, Napoli, and Barcelona among others, and was idolized for his brilliant skills.
