Centurion: Pakistan men’s team captain Babar Azam has confirmed that pacer Hasan Ali is available for selection in the upcoming ODI series against South Africa.

The 26-year-old Hasan recently recovered from COVID-19 before flying to South Africa and was reportedly feeling unwell. Skipper Babar revealed that all the squad members are fit for the first ODI tomorrow at SuperSport Park. Centurion.

“Hasan is 100% fit and we will look to step on the field with the best possible playing XI,” Babar said in a pre-series virtual presser.

On the other hand, Babar vouched that the side will look to play modern-day cricket in the upcoming series. “We’re planning our gameplay as per modern-day cricket which is being played presently. We now have to play modern-day cricket and our target is to score 350s in ODI,” he added.

“It is all about the momentum and we are working on our power-hitting. The players are learning. It is also about taking responsibility. Contributions from the top four are always vital. We will start strong. If our finishers fire, we can reach a total above 300,” he maintained.
