Mother of Faisal Iqbal passes away in Karachi

KARACHI: Mother of former Test cricketer Faisal Iqbal and sister of ex Pakistani captain Javed Miandad has passed away due to cancer here at a local hospital on Saturday.

Taking to Twitter, Faisal shared the news with his followers and the cricket fraternity. According to the former cricketer, his mother was battling cancer for a long time.

With heavy heart i want to inform that after a long battle with cancer and heart my mother and sister of Javed miandad has sadly passed away إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ please remember her in your Dua Namaz e janaza is tonight at my mother house https://t.co/ysGWOkZrrL
