Jamaica: Pakistan batters put up yet another disappointing performance as they were bowled out for 203 in the second innings and took a 167-run lead early on Day four of the first Test.
The visitors started the day on 160/5 after skipper Babar Azam and Faheem Ashraf looked firm yesterday in the final session.
Faheem was the first man to depart as keeper Joshua da Silva grabbed a brilliant catch off Kemar Roach. Faheem scored 20 off 92.
Babar only added one run to his overnight score of 54 as he was stunned by Kyle Mayers’ delivery which took an edge. The 26-year-old Babar was the only notable run-getter, scoring 55 off 160 which included seven fours.
Meanwhile, Jayden Seales removed Yasir Shah (4) and Shaheen Shah (0) in quick succession with Hasan Ali taking charge with the bat.
Hasan provided entertainment by smashing two four and two sixes for his 28. In the flow, he top-edged one off Seales as he tried to play over the off-side.
Seales bagged the first fifer of his Test career, becoming the youngest to do so for West Indies in this format. He finished with figures of 5/55 with experienced Roach bagging 3/30.
